This is going to set your foreground color to whatever color you click on and will also allow you to get the color's hex code. Head back to your image editing program and the tool you want to use now is the color picker.

Once your screenshot is ready import it into your paint program. This is where gyazo comes in handy because you can capture only your character instead of the whole screen.ģ. This is gonna give you a bigger preview of your character while also giving you even lighting all over your character.Ģ. Now what you're going to do is open your character window in XIV, right click the top of the window then scale it to 200%. (optional) Gyazo - Simple screenshot tool that removes the need to crop a picture by only screenshotting the area you select.ġ. An image editing/graphic program/ some way to get color hex codes ( I prefer Krita for this because it's simpler, but Krita puts a heavy load on some comps, Gimp is another great choice that's free) Also I'd like to see more use of color in-game besides everyone defaulting to white, black, white+red, black+red.

My whole reason for posting this is I just wanted to help someone out there who may have trouble finding colors for their outfits. I LOVE color, buuuut sometimes my combinations need a bit of help ? -Shudders from early day MMO color combos. THE TRUE ENDGAME But lor can make or break a glam & if you're anything like me you know very little about color theory and usually just mess about until something finally looks good.
